Day 15 – 30 Days on $100 food challenge – Mitch has a GIANT head!

Big shout out and thanks to Addison, Daniel and Marshall! We are so very greatful for all the goodies that Daniel Phillips (www.SydneyGhostTour.com.au) has given us. Its support like you are giving that really makes this challenge fun! :)

Tip of the day is not to eat all day which saves you lots of money. If your anorexic, I recommend not doing this and eat something. Did you know that you can live, by only breathing? There is people that do this and they are called breatharian. Breatharian’s believe food and/or water is not required to live. (More info here – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inedia)

Onto today and we look forward to your confessions… I mean comments. :)

My questions for you guys is “Why do you think everyone is so generous?” What makes people give in the ways they are giving? Is it their relationship with you? Is this something that you feel is in everybody? When you started the challenge, did you think about everyone’s generosity beforehand (did you expect it)? Do you think or feel that folks would be generous if is was someone other than you guys?

    Those are thoughts to ponder.

    Very interesting questions Addison.

I think a very important part of why everyone is being so generious is because we are doing it to do it, not to get something or be something. We are doing it without expectations and/or for the attention it is or might bring. In all our videos, we have been as real as we possibly could in the moment and people really, genuinely love that. There is so much facade and BS which is spread and talked about every day all around the world and the truth is, I (speaking for myself) have moved well beyond standing behind an image and worrying about what people think of me or if my actions have caused people to think a judgement of me. I am who I am, I sware and use profanity alot. I sometimes really don’t make any sense, but I am always good company. I would rather lose a friend to the truth than to lie to make someone feel good.

I have gone on abit, but I think what I wrote answers most of what you asked, without directly answering it. :)

    You are both very welcome!

I guess the law of reciprocity is at work here. Mitch, I value the information you have given me enormously, and feel very motivated to help you in any way I can.

At the same time, I have been surprised, proud and delighted that even when I have been “running lean” money wise myself, that I have been able to easily and happily give quite a lot of food away.

This has been because I have been buying in bulk very well, in the way that restaurants and people in the food business buy it, buying “in season” fruits, vegetables and meats from wholesalers. Ironically I’m spending a fraction of what I used to spend on food and eating enormously better by doing that.

When you make a decision to do something like this – how soon shows up. I’m just glad I’ve been able to help! :-D
