Day 3 – 30 Days on $100 food challenge

Ok, So we have made it to day 3. Can I hear a whoop whoop?

Not only has today been a massive challange for me business wise, but I think I really need to eat some greens. Skimping on cheap carb filled meals is good for the budget, but the body is getting massively clogged up. We have been getting some awesome feedback and several people have suggested to head to the local markets before they close and they basically give away boxes of fruit (for like $1) which is perfectly good to eat, they just dont want to cart it home with them. So the video is a little late (was meant to be posted yesterday. Means for a double post today. haha)

    You adorable couple!

Glad your bodies are young enough to deal with saving $$$ by eating massive white flour. If it was me, I would have just had the sauce – that’s what makes the pasta/bread tasty anyway.

That’s the trick with eating on a budget… filling up is easy. Eating healthy fruits and veggies is the best.

Perhaps now is the time to start a garden. At least by the time the challenge is over you’ll have a few carrots!

    Love and best,
    Sherrie
(you’ve got guts to do this challenge!)

I may have to start quoting that — “It’s been Yum!” — parents are great… when my Mom hears I’m coming to town, she hits up Costco, and fills up 2 freezers of goodies!”
