So, A Narcissistic, ADHD, Stalker Walks Into An Internet Bar…

Thanks to UPHAA.com, I came across this hilarious but true image.

I’ve never even heard of TweetStalk until today, but now I understand it to be a site where you can follow people on Twitter without them knowing it.  Wow.  I don’t even know what to say about that.

This cartoon shows you that MySpace is for narcissistic people with ADHD, TweetStalk is for stalkers with ADHD, and Facebook is for narcissistic stalkers.  Twitter, however, is for someone with all three personality traits.  Lucky them.

I could take this article a few ways.  Get mad at the cartoon for placing these stigmas on otherwise harmless sites.  Or, keep laughing about how true it is.

All Internet Marketers know that Facebook and Twitter are great for marketing your business.  (Sorry MySpace, but no one uses you anymore unless they want music.  And TweetStalk, I’m still too in shock to talk to you.)  It’s great to market on social media sites since they are popular with almost every age group.  It is also quite inexpensive and simple to do.

We all know how important these sites are, but I’m still giggling at this chart.  I think I would have moved things around a little bit, though.  I’d switch Facebook and Twitter because, if you’re bored and having an “ADHD moment,” are you more likely to go to Twitter and read tweets or go to Facebook and stare at pictures of people you haven’t talked to in three years?

So, while social media sites are irreplaceable in the world of marketing, we all know how fun they are in our non-business lives too.  We’re all lucky to be in an industry where you can mix business and pleasure (if you want to), and you won’t get in trouble for it.

Seriously, how many of you laughed at this thing too?
